What is a pedestal?
A pedestal is a small piece of furniture, often a drawer unit, that fits below a desk or similar working surface. Pedestals can sit under one or both ends of a desk. Pedestals are so called because they support the desk or work surface.
Our series of high and low mobile and fixed pedestals provides a stylish appearance with all the strength and security of a metal storage unit. Pedestals are lockable and filing units take both foolscap and A4 suspension files.
Pedestals come in two main types, those for filing and storage and those designed to house CPUs and CDs. Storage pedestals can be fixed; mobile; desk high; steel or stand alone and all are securely lockable.
